The renewed Kerava Kauppakaari brings wellness services close to locals

Kielo’s property in the heart of Kerava, at Kauppakaari 15, is soon to receive a new look and improved facilities. The extensive renovation project will bring significant improvements to the building’s functionality and appearance. Residents of Kerava will be able to enjoy the new Kauppakaari in the spring-summer of 2025.
Bright and Functional Premises
Kielo obtained the Kauppakaari property, which was originally built in 1989, in the center of Kerava in 2021. On the pedestrian street, all the services of the center are within close proximity. Thanks to its excellent location, Kauppakaari is easily accessible by foot, bike, and public transport. The train journey from Helsinki’s city center just over 20 minutes, and drivers can easily park in the nearby parking garage. The Karuselli shopping center is located opposite Kauppakaari, and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around
The goal of the Kauppakaari renovation project is to create modern, energy-efficient, and healthy premises that meet today’s requirements. The construction work is planned to be carried out in phases, with special attention paid to the synchronization of technical and construction work. The project is designed and implemented by SRV.
“The complete renovation of Kauppakaari includes changes to the space program on the first and second floors. Additionally, the internal structures and surfaces will be renewed, and the facade will get a new look,” says Kielo’s Portfolio Manager Tomas Syrjänen.
“Furthermore, the technical systems will be almost completely renewed, and cooling systems will be added to the first and second floors as well as the basement’s meeting and break rooms,” Syrjänen continues.

Premises for Health and Wellness Services
The renovated property, with its large windows, will be flooded with light and give tenants the opportunity to enjoy premises that suit their business needs. The renewed Kauppakaari will bring together health and wellness services under one roof, with the new premises being occupied by the Aava Medical Center, the Synsam optician, and the Ole.Fit fitness center. There are still premises available for other new tenants.
“Excellent ground floor retail premises, as well as second-floor office premises, are still available,” Syrjänen says.
