H&M’s store gets a makeover

H&M is renovating its Jyväskylä city store at Kävelykatu 37 to improve customer service to enhance the shopping experience. The modern and more accessible store layout will be consolidated onto one floor, and new services will be introduced to offer customers greater flexibility and convenience. The store will remain open throughout the renovation, and the sales area will move to the ground floor on March 1, 2025.

“We are excited to continue serving our customers in Jyväskylä city and to welcome them to a more accessible and optimized store experience. By consolidating our operations onto one floor, we are making better use of our space while creating a convenient and inspiring shopping environment. We are also introducing new services, such as Self Checkouts and Click & Collect lockers, to make shopping and returns even easier. Our physical stores remain a key part of our customer offering, and we are committed to continuously investing in them to meet evolving expectations,” says Louise Göransson, Expansions Manager Nordics, H&M.

“We are very pleased that H&M continues as our tenant in Jyväskylä. Our collaboration has been successful for several years, and we look forward to the store’s renovations, which we believe will further improve the customer experience,” says Hanna Rauhala, CEO, Kielo.

Rainmaker Group becomes a tenant at Kävelykatu 37

The second-floor retail premises and former offices will be renovated into modern office premises, with the primary tenant being Rainmaker Group Oy, a service company specializing in sales, customer work, and personnel solutions, starting from early June. Rainmaker is also a tenant in Kielo’s Oulu property at Nuottasaarentie.

“We are excited to be part of this renovation. The new spaces provide us with excellent facilities to expand our operations and improve customer service,” says Juha Haaksluoto, Director, Resource Unit, Rainmaker Group.

“We welcome Rainmaker as our tenant in Jyväskylä. It is great to see our collaboration working well in different cities, and that we can meet Rainmaker’s needs in finding office premises,” adds Hanna Rauhala, CEO, Kielo.

The renovation contractor for Rainmaker in Jyväskylä is K-S Mestarityö Oy, and the main designer is Arkkitehtipalvelu Oy. Project management is the responsibility of Infonia Oy.

The central location of Kävelykatu 37 attracts various companies, and there will be little free space left in the property after the renovations. There is still some retail or office premises available on the second floor at the Kauppalaispiha entrance. Warehouse premises are available in the basement.
