Kielo is donating to the Joulupuu campaign

December is a time for helping and spreading good cheer. This year, Kielo is supporting children’s and youth’s hobbies by participating in the Joulupuu campaign. In addition to a joint donation, there are Joulupuu’s donation points at our Jyväskylä and Lappeenranta offices, which enable our customers to make low-threshold donations during their workday. 

“In our Jyväskylä office premises, Joulupuu’s collection points have been available for seven years. For the same duration, we have also served as the official partner of the campaign in the city and provided sorting facilities for donations to volunteers at our office,” says Anna Väisänen, Concept Manager of Kielo Jyväskylä and Lappeenranta.

Providing sorting facilities has been a pleasant gesture for volunteers. Functional, street-level facilities have made it easier for volunteers to work and coordinate, which has been an improvement compared to the time before the partnership.  

The Joulupuu campaign’s donation points located in our premises have become a tradition over the years, which our customers have come to expect well in advance. Numerous donations are collected at the collection points, made by both individual actors and companies using the premises. For us at Kielo, helping is an important part of our values, and we want to inspire our customers to participate in various charity campaigns. In Jyväskylä, in addition to the Joulupuu collection, we have also participated in the ‘Take Your Child to Work Day,’ during which our office restaurants offered food to suit children’s tastes.

“It has been a pleasure to see that despite challenging times, people’s desire to help has remained strong. This year’s Joulupuu campaign has received numerous donations, just like in previous years,” Väisänen concludes.
