Kielo develops new premises for Aava Medical Center and Pikkujätti at Kauppakaari in Kerava

Aava Medical Center and Pikkujätti have signed a long-term lease agreement for new premises at Kauppakaari 15 in Kerava.

The new premises bring together all of Aava’s services for both personal and occupational health customers in a central location in the heart of the city. Pikkujätti is also moving under the same roof, thus bringing children’s and young people’s medical services back to Kerava. The premises of over 1000 square meters are planned to have 31 consultation rooms, a laboratory, imaging facilities, and procedure rooms.

The development of the Kauppakaari 15 brings modern premises to the city, which serve tenants, users of the premises, residents of the area, and the city of Kerava even better.

“It’s great to continue developing the city center of Kerava on our part and update the premises of our centrally located property to meet today’s needs. We are pleased to have Aava Medical Center and Pikkujätti as the main tenant in the building, and the leasing of other premises is also progressing rapidly,” says Kielo’s CEO Hanna Rauhala.

The Kauppakaari property, completed in 1989, gets a new, modern facade and appearance thanks to the basic renovation, and thus offers modern, up-to-date premises for various tenants, while enhancing the urban image of the pedestrian street Kauppakaari. The changes are made with health, safety, and functionality in mind. Attention is paid to energy efficiency by renewing windows and a heat pump, modernizing automation technology, and improving indoor air classification.

The contractor is the construction company SRV. The alterations will begin in summer 2024, and they are estimated to be completed in spring 2025, when tenants can move into the new premises in stages.
